Christmas Eve at the Hospital

Without any planned, I spent my Christmas here in the hospital with my elder brother’s family. Actually, at first, only my elder brother and my sister in law, but I felt pity with my 9 years old niece who supposed left in her house (of course her eldest sister would be with her) but while I was lying down last, I felt like that it’s not good that my niece would not be around with her parents while celebrating the Christmas Eve. So, I suggested to my elder brother to bring my niece and be with us.

And to make the long story short, my niece was with us. And before midnight my church leaders came to visit and my pastor’s wife sent lots of food, so we had plenty of food to feast. And the hospital owner gave us delicious food for our Noche Buena. Unfortunately, my two companions, my sil and niece were not able to join with my elder to feast the food that the hospital owner gave us, because they’re sleeping, we tried to wake their up, but they preferred to sleep in. But of course, they ate their share for their breakfast.

Though, I spent my Christmas Eve here in the hospital but I felt like I was still at home because each one has shared and extending their greetings. And above all, I have been so thankful to God for restoring my health. And I never felt sad that my extension of stay here has been extended because I know God has a purpose for everything. That I would be able to rest well and treated well with my medication.

Right now, I am only waiting for my doctor to do her rounds and I am also waiting also for the discharged slip so that I can go home. And be getting ready with my other activity that waits of me to do. Anyway, that works tomorrow will not be a burden nor heavy for me to do, I would only speak on the youth camp that will start tomorrow until the next day, but I would only speak on tomorrow’s night. So, I will still have time to rest.Took this photo early today before my elder brother and niece went back home and my sister in law and I left in our room and waited for my doctor to come. I hope she will be here soon, so that I can go home and still able to attend the church worship.
